PCOS Awareness (September 2020)

September is the PCOS awareness month and we engaged with Dr. Anita Soni and Dr. Avnatina Sharma Bhadari to help create awareness and disseminate accurate information about PCOS. We focussed on PCOS development and management through medical assistance, lifestyle management and improving general wellness through holistic changes.

One in every five Indian women (20%) are diagnosed with PCOS. It is increasing at an alarming rate. People should be made more aware about it. If not treated on time, it can lead to ramifications, and can lead to serious health impacts. It can be treated by maintaining a healthy lifestyle and healthy diet plan. Following a healthy exercise regime and controlled eating habits can reduce the severity of PCOS.

Suicide Prevention & Awareness (September 2020)

We ran a month long campaign for Suicide Awareness and Prevention. We focused of explaining Suicide, myths and exact Indian statistics  and action can be taken to prevent it.

According to WHO, Close to 800 000 people die due to suicide every year, which is one person every 40 seconds. 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 is a global phenomenon and occurs throughout the lifespan. Effective and evidence-based interventions can be implemented at population, sub-population and individual levels to prevent suicide and suicide attempts. There are indications that for each adult who died by suicide there may have been more than 20 others attempting suicide.
